Faith and Business 101: A Leap of Faith

It’s amazing to me how God reinforces whatever He’s teaching me at the moment in so many ways: through people, through my devotions, through His Word. It’s true that if we listen for His “still small voice” He can be heard above the clatter of daily life.

This was part of my devotions this morning:

“Wise leaders know their time is limited. They know they have no way to retrieve misused or wasted time.” John Maxwell

Exactly what I needed to hear today to confirm in my heart that I’m making a wise choice. I am constantly evaluating my time usage in my business. Even though I run an organization with many people depending on me, I am wife and mom first! That is my God-given #1 assignment. I strive to keep a healthy balance between work and family. Recently, things have been out of balance again. I have been praying for God to do something. To make a way for me to focus on the vision He has given me for my life and business.

It took a leap of faith.

It’s taking a great amount of trust on my part and the act of giving up control of certain things that need letting go. But He has made a way! I’m so excited to see God work in the daily “goings-on” of my life. I am in awe of how much He cares for even the seemingly minute details of our lives…and the giant decisions, too.

And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. Hebrews 11:6 NIV

What do you need to “let go…and let God?” What needs a leap of faith in your life and business?

Managing my time wisely and productively is always my biggest challenge. I believe that God has provided a solution for me.

I’ve leapt… I’ll let you know how it goes! :-)

Until Next Time…
