The Daily – No Enemy Can Reach Me!

My husband hurt his shoulder at work yesterday and we found out that he will not be able to work for the rest of the week. No pay. We have to wait for disability bologna to work out. This takes time and a bunch of red tape to find our way through. For me, these trials are always nerve racking. Hubbie is always strong though and encourages and reminds me that God is in control and we will be OK.

I wish I could tell you that I do not worry. However, it is a weakness of mine…the need to have all my ducks in a row and know what is what.

Living tight and then having a financial glitch sends me into worry zone.

So, I sent out my prayer request to friends–including my mentor. My mentor sent me a Scripture that totally calmed my nerves and I keep going back to it to remind myself of what GOD’s WORD says and I thought I would share it with y’all! :)

Let all that I am wait quietly before God, for my hope is in Him. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress where I will not be shaken. My victory and honor come from God alone. He is my refuge, a rock where no enemy can reach me. – Psalm 62:5-7

WOW, right?? Just what I needed to hear! My HOPE is in the Creator of all things! HE is my rock and my fortress! I WILL NOT be shaken! My VICTORY comes from Daddy–and NO…NOT ONE enemy can reach me! It excites me to read this!

NO ENEMY CAN REACH ME!

Hey…this is a promise for YOU too!

Just thought I would remind you and me to RUN TO DADDY!

The name of the LORD is a strong tower; The righteous run to it and are safe. – Proverbs 18:10

Let’s pray;

Daddy God, thank You for not only saving me from hell, loving me and the abundant mercy You bestow on me daily, but also for Your protection, refuge and provision! I love You! I need You. Never let me go! You are MY REFUGE and I will hide in Your arms all the days of my life! Thank You for always having them open for me! In Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.

Homework:

Read and meditate on the entire 62nd chapter of Psalm. It’s an awesome book of encouragement! :D

Memorize: Let all that I am wait quietly before God, for my hope is in him. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress where I will not be shaken. My victory and honor come from God alone. He is my refuge, a rock where no enemy can reach me. – Psalm 62:5-7

    Amen! So true. Worry is a weakness of mine too, but I am now realizing when I worry I’m allowing the enemy in. Trying to let go of worry, this scripture is a great reminder. :)
