Although I have ever since given up the infamous "New Years Resolution" I have found that the New Year is a wonderful time to set up goals. These are different than resolutions because a goal is something that you will continually try to work towards, something that it's OK to "fall off the bandwagon" for and something to look back and reflect upon when the year ends. I encourage you to take the days after Christmas and before the first day of the new year and write down 3 business related goals for this year.Be sure to write these down somewhere--whether it be a journal, sticky note, or blog post. Writing them down will help to solidify them to you.
