January 2014 Prayer Meeting

We had an incredible prayer meeting last night! If you missed it, I am going to post the prayer below. However, I would like to encourage you to join our private Moms of Faith group on Facebook and try to make our February meeting! It is very powerful coming together in unity!

Note: I encourage you to write down the Scripture references, and look them up later to further encourage yourself in the Lord!

Let’s pray…

Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank Him for all He has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. – Philippians 4:6-7

Father God, we love You. You are worthy of all glory, honor, and praise. You alone are mighty, merciful, and great. You are holy and full of compassion. You are just and kind. There is none like You! We love You. We adore You.

Thank You for all that You do for us each and every day. Thank You for Your healing, provision, covering, and forgiveness. Thank You for the many blessings that You grant us every day. You are so good to us, Lord.

Shout with joy to the Lord, all the earth!  Worship the Lord with gladness. Come before Him, singing with joy. Acknowledge that the Lord is God! He made us, and we are His. We are His people, the sheep of His pasture. Enter His gates with thanksgiving; go into His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him and praise His Name. For the Lord is good. His unfailing love continues forever, and His faithfulness continues to each generation. – Psalm 100:1-5

Father, we boldly come before Your throne and plead for our nation, our children, relationships, finances, and health.

Lord, we ask that You protect our nation, and heal it. We ask that You have mercy on our leaders. We ask that You move in the hearts that need to be changed. We pray for protection over our leaders and that if any are lost, they find You! We thank You for healing this land and every land represented at this meeting!

If My people who are called by My Name will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from Heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land. – 2 Chronicles 7:14

Lord, we ask that You protect our children from evil. We ask that You bring forth Truth in their lives where lies have taken root. We ask that those who are not saved become saved. We ask that You super-naturally put a spirit of boldness and righteousness over our beloved children, so that they may rise up, and make a change in this world for Your glory! Oh, Lord, help us to be better mothers. Help us to be better examples. Help us to steer our children towards You–not away! Lord, please protect our children, and our families!

Yet the Lord is faithful, and He will strengthen you, and set you on a firm foundation and guard you from the evil one.  – 2 Thessalonians 3:3

Father, we want to ask that You heal our relationships. Where there is division, we ask for You to restore unity. Where we need to let go, we ask for strength. Lord, we pray that You help us to forgive and show mercy to those who hurt us, and to make allowances for one another’s faults. Lord, bless marriages. Restore marriages in Jesus’ Name! Restore broken relationships. We declare healing in our relationships, in Jesus’ Mighty Name!

Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others. – Colossians 3:13

Lord, You know the condition of our finances. Nothing is hidden from You. We need a breakthrough, Lord. Our economy needs a super-natural miracle. Lord, we pray for increase, promotions, and creativity in the realm of finances. Father, where we are out of alignment in our finances, we ask that You teach us, and show us how we should spend our money, and where we should be giving. Lord, please move mightily in our finances!

And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from His glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus. – Philippians 4:19

Lord, we plead for the physical, mental, and spiritual health of every mom and family represented here and throughout the Moms of Faith community! We ask that miraculous healing takes place right now, in Jesus’ Mighty Name! We pray for physical diseases to be dissolved, in Jesus’ Name! We pray for mental illnesses to be removed in Jesus’ Name! We pray for spiritual sickness and apathy to be amputated in Jesus’ Name! We call forth healing through the power of the Blood of Jesus Christ! We declare it and receive it in Jesus’ Mighty and Healing Name!

I tell you, you can pray for anything, and if you believe that you’ve received it, it will be yours. – Mark 11:24

Father, we also want to pray for every prayer request posted on Moms of Faith main Facebook page, and all unspoken needs. Lord we pray that You meet every need, and help every Mom of Faith! We pray for spiritual, physical, relational, financial, and psychological healing and blessings to every Mom of Faith represented, whether present or not!

Oh, Lord, You are so good. You are wise and merciful, and abounding in love. You are so worthy and wonderful! We worship and adore You! We love You, Lord. Thank You so much for loving us! You are holy. Holy is Your Name, oh, God. You are mighty, and good! You are so much more than we could ever hope or dream for. You are more than enough for us, Lord. We love You so much!

We thank You for hearing our petitions. Thank You that we can be assured of Your love, provision, forgiveness, and mercy. We love You, Lord. We receive Your blessings, and believe that we WILL receive everything we have asked for this evening. Thank You. In Jesus’ Mighty Name, amen.

For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. In those days when you pray, I will listen. If you look for Me wholeheartedly, you will find Me. I will be found by you,” says the Lord. – Jeremiah 29:11-15

If you have any specific requests, please post them below, and make sure that you look for other’s prayers as well. Let’s make sure we check this post for responses, so we can pray for one another throughout the month of January!

I just want to say thank you for such an inspiring blog. As a homeschooling, Christian mom, I utilize your site for references, encouragement etc., but never left comments…..shame…mom brain…lol As a blogger, I know better. Oops! I just started a Christian mom blog yesterday: Christian Moms Daily and joined your affiliate program. I look forward to making a difference with it. Thank you for all you do!
