Week Four and Five

I did not get to post last week because I was very ill…I do not remember being so sick recently. I really think I had food poisoning or the baddest little stomach bug this side of the cosmos! I could not even walk to the bathroom! I was literally CRAWLING!

You would think that if there was any justice in this cruel world I would have lost at least 5 pounds during my ordeal…well, you would be wrong … VERY wrong!  Sadly, I only lose 1.5 pounds in the past TWO weeks! It *could* be from all the laying down I did…however, I hardly ate, so it really is true what I wrote in my book about the body going into “starvation mode.”

Geeze!

I think I will be doing double time with my work outs this coming week!

Week Three

OK, still did not do everything I wanted…however, I did work out two days and manage to lose 1 pound! LOL!

I drank lots of water and did wii fit for about 20 minutes two days.

I also ate well for the first part of my week, but slipped just before the finish line. LOL!

Hoping for two pounds dropped this next week!

BAH! I was a COMPLETE failure last week. :(

I did not drink my water correctly, I ate like I had a tape worm and I never ever touched my Wii Fit. :(

I feel terrible…I am sorry for being such a weightloss flake!

Week two MUST be better!

Er…

Let’s hope!

I mean if I start today…

I need to go back to paying attention to the fact I have butter on my thighs that I do not want there!

Maybe if I get my skinny jeans out again for a visual! I mean I KNOW how to do this for crying out loud!!!

All I know is that I am out of balance in my diet/nutrition/fitness part of life and I need to get it in order!

Week One

OK…here we go! LOL! I am “officially” starting today. You can read my “intro” here. :)

The Goal:

Lose 50 pounds and then reassess if I need to lose any additional weight.

Time: I want to do this by my next birthday; March 5. So, that gives me 7 months. Plenty of time to do this in a healthy manner! If I average about 1.5 pounds weight loss a week, I will make it!

The Plan:

Make use of the Wii Fit Blessing. LOL! –> My aim is to work out with it 5 days a week. However, if I can get 3 days, I will be happy!

I also plan to drink 1/2 my current body weight in ounces of water per day. I know from the past how important this is.

Finally, I refuse to “diet,” so, I will just be making better choices and limiting my portions. I will limit sugar as well. This method has always worked best with me!

Weekly Updates:

Each week (aiming for Mondays), I will post an update on my week, what I did and did not do. My failures and accomplishments. I will be completely honest. I am not going to post pics at this time. However, at the end of this journey, I will post a pic of my before and after jeans. LOL!

Moms of Faith Get Fit Challenge! (intro)

I recently received Wii Fit as a gift and I thought it might be worth a shot! LOL! I started a website last year to help me lose weight. However, it got too hard to keep up with it AND all my other activities. However, I HAVE kept off all the weight I lost during that time. Unfortunately, I never reached my final goal.

So…here I go again…

Will you join me?

I know it is what God wants for all of His children. He wants us healthy and well balanced in ALL areas of our lives…including the thunder thighs!

The 411

You do not have to use Wii Fit!

You can use whatever diet and fitness method you want.

The only thing I would request is that you do a weekly check in. You can do it by posting a reply to MY check in OR better yet, spread the flab busting news with others and BLOG about it! :) I will be posting an image with my very first “Check-In.”

OK, so August FIRST is my our official start date. I will check in every Monday with ya’ll…starting August 9th!
