Lately, God has been nagging me with the same Scripture over and over and over again.If I stress out, He reminds me of it.If I start worrying about anything, He reminds me of it.If I wallow in self pity, He reminds me of it.If I begin to feel sad, angry or any emotion that is not happy, peaceful and content--He reminds me of it.I am now convinced that it really is a message from the Lord that is quite powerful for all of His children. I believe it is the CURE for unhappiness, depression, worry...and many mentally developed issues we have.Before I go further: I am not telling you to go against a doctor's advice, stop taking medication, or anything like that...That is between you, your doctor and God. I AM saying that I am convinced that if we would take God at His Word; we may find ourselves on less pills, paying less psychiatric bills, and feeling less crappy. I wanted to share a very personal story with you from my other blog... I anguished over writing this post. I was afraid of being judged, losing readers or even worse–causing a sister to stumble. Once I came to terms with the fact that God was not going to stop nagging me to write it, I had to decide WHERE to put the post. Should I put it here, on Moms of Faith, or my personal blog… After much thought, I decided here was the best fit. Why? Because my sin and disobedience directly affect how I influence my husband. It reflects my help meet status as well. I mean how can I be any help to my husband, if I choose to walk in disobedience?? Please understand that what I am about to share with you is very personal, and it is the one thing in my life that I have refused to lay down–even though I KNOW God wanted me to. You may have read my recent whiny post about the financial blow we were recently hit with. Well, I wanted to give y'all a praise report!It started with a couple people taking me up on some great ad offers I sent them and then God did me one better when out of the blue a site that I have been trying to sell, got a major bite! I have had a ton or queries mind you, however, this person amde an offer and is ready to pay!So, with the money from the ads and the sale of a website, we will have enough to get computer fixed...and the car. PLUS, have a small cushion for a future emergency!THANK YOU to ALL who prayed for me and this situation! I knew bringing it to my sisters would move the mountain! <3 PRAISE the LORD! In closing, please continue to pray that it all goes through today. The buyer is supposed to send payment today. Pray it all works out and quickly.
