I was offered an amazing opportunity to review Hickory Farms products via an in home party. :) Before this, I had never even tried anything from them. I was not sure what to expect, however, I was looking forward to all the goodies I was going to receive for this review. :)When the packages arrived for my party, I was pleasantly surprised at how nicely they were arranged and the wonderful array of yumminess.On the day of my party, I sliced up the scrumptious assortment of meats and cheeses, along with fresh fruit and crackers. I made my platters and made sure everything was fabulous for my party. As I sliced away, I was taste testing the goodies...all I can say is YUM! Everything was delightful and really really delicious! The cheese...oh my...heavenly. The Gouda, cheddar and Parmesan herb blend were my favorites. However, I loved all of the cheeses and meats. Halloween is only a few days away. What better way to celebrate than with the "official" Halloween pizza??Our family does not celebrate Halloween in a traditional way. However, a few days before the actual holiday, we participate in a Fall Festival at our church, and our kids get dressed up to go "Trunk or Treating".What is Trunk or Treating?? It is something that our church community does each year. People decorate the trunk of their cars, and pass out candy. It is amazing how creative people can be. We have seen pirate ships, a giant wii remote that you could actually play in, and even a jungle! It is so much fun! They also get a TON of yummy candy. Then, on Halloween, Mom (aka...ME) digs into my beloved children's goodie bags and I steal all the candies that I like...LOL! This year, they are sure to forgive me pretty quick though, since I am going to give them Tombstone Pizza and candy for dinner!
