Veggie Tales: Sweetpea Beauty GIVE-a-WAY

For those who may not know; Sweetpea Beauty is one of the newest Veggie Tale releases and it has a FABULOUS message for girls. It has all the wonderful things we love about veggie tales, great story, humor, veggie characters and of course silly songs. :)

What I really loved about this movie was the strong message for girls and their appearance. We live in a culture that is screaming sexuality and outward appearances. Sweetpea Beauty goes deep. It starts with “the almost classic” Snooderella (I just love the Snoodles). This shorter film, features “Snooderella”, a not so pretty Snoodle who does not feel good about herself. Without giving too much away, she gets a word straight from the King, her Creator, that makes it very clear she IS beautiful and wonderful just the way He created her! LOVED IT!

Then, we move on to the feature presentation, Sweetpea Beauty. Hilarious. Madam Blueberry gives an academy award winning performance! LOL! When you watch it, think eyebrows…too funny! OK, so, Sweetpea Beauty is a very witty film that incorporates several of the classic princess movies all in one very well made veggie delight! From Sleeping Beauty to Rapunzel to Snow White and a few others, it is simply spectacular.

By the end of both films, your little girls will have heard a message declaring that inner beauty and how we treat others is what REAL beauty is all about.

There are a couple other products that I think not only go well with the movie, they are great on their own.

365 Bedtime Devos for Girls: I was pleasantly surprised how simple yet powerful the messages are. Another great thing about the devos in this book is that they are short. ONE page. You get the verse, a short message and a prayer. It is a great devotional for busy Moms to read to their daughters. It is also easy to understand…even the most antsy pants girls will sit for these! LOL! At least my little wiggler did! Note: I am actually using it as our morning devo time, not for bedtime.

Sweetpea’s Songs for girls: Love it! So, will your little girls. I just LOVE Nichole Nordeman and she has an incredible song on here with an incredible message. There are 12 songs total. This is a great way to get positive, faith based and uplifting words flowing into their precious little princess ears and hearts!

I highly recommend, any and all of the above products. They really are a gem for Moms, aunts or anyone with a little girl in their life! Even my teenager loved it!
