I have to close my eyes when I drink our tap water. There are always little particles floating around inside, and if you knew me personally, you would know that I am very particular about what I eat and drink! However, I have to drink the water because buying bottles of Fiji water is not a long term solution that bodes well with our budget!
So, when I was given the opportunity to review the ZeroWater® Pitcher (water filter), I jumped at the chance! In the process I learned quite a bit about my water, your water, and water in general! I learned that my water is not that great (kinda figured) and that my TDS rating was over 120–not the worst but not that great either. I also learned that the ZeroWater® filter ROCKS! We should get these bad boys to people that need clean water in places around the world!
I was amazed at how clean my glass of water was after putting it through the ZeroWater® filter! No floaties and ZERO TDS rating and…it tasted better to me! It could have been psychological, but I think it was the filtering! I also loved the fact that it came with a little TDS meter to test my water. LOVE.
The ZeroWater® filtering system is NO joke:
- It is a 5 stage filter which is more comprehensive.
- Ion Exchange Technology as opposed to simple carbon only.
- Removes virtually all detectable dissolved solids.
- ZeroWater® filters produce the only filtered water that meets the FDA definition for TDS in purified bottled water. So you get purified-quality water without the plastic bottles or the high cost. ZeroWater® unit, can cost as little as 50 cents per gallon to have purified-quality water.
The ZeroWater® pitcher itself is very attractive and not only does it fit in the fridge, it also has a little button spout (you can see it on the bottom right of the picture) that you can use to get your water. This is great! No worries about the kids pulling the pitcher out and dropping it on the floor. They can just use the spout. AWESOMNESS!
You really should head on over to their site and take the TDS (total dissolved solids) test. It is quick and simple and you will know immediately where your state’s water stands.
They also have a Facebook page that has even more product info. Go on and like it, you know you want to!
OK, are you convinced?? Do you want to try one?? Well, you can buy one for 30% OFF! Just GO HERE and use the code: MC30
