Disclosure: This is a sponsored giveaway. However, all opinions I share about book are my own and truthful.
I get a ton of requests from authors to post reviews, giveaways, or press releases of their books, and I honestly have to turn down quite a few. However, every once in awhile, something extra special happens, and this is one such occasion…
The award winning book, Emily Lost Someone She Loved is not only one of the best children’s books I’ve had the privilege of reading; it is an incredibly touching, and empathetic approach to revealing the deep sorrow, and struggle that a child feels when they lose someone they love.
I do not want to give too much away, however, I will say that I let my daughter read it, and she was very moved. She told me that she loved how they showed Emily’s life before the loss, and then how realistic everything turned when she lost her loved one.
As for me, an adult reading it, I felt warmth and comfort reading it and the Scriptures included, while thinking back to the loss of my daddy several year ago. That is truly a gift the author has to be able to reach not only their target audience, but outside that genre as well!
I believe that Emily Lost Someone She Loves is a book that every parent should have as an aid in helping their child deal with the loss of a loved one. It is a treasure that I am happy to have in my home library!
I am also thrilled to announce that we are GIVING AWAY one free copy of this awesome book to one of our wonderful readers!! Read on…

Thank you for such a wonderful review of the book! God bless you!
Well this fits to the tee. Last Sat my father passed away and we are telling the kids today that Grandpa is gone. This book might help with the grieving process.
I think it would be beneficial to add to our library because it is something that happens in life and it would help with dealing with the issue of losing someone.
I would love this book for my niece who lost her dad to cancer in just 8 months ago. She and her brother have been having such a hard time with this and I think the book could help both of them in the grieving process! Great review!
I’d like to have a copy of this book to protect my grandson for the passing of my grandmother, his great grandmother, whom he loves very much. She it’s 97 and although we know this is an eventuality and a part of life I’d like a way to ease him into it.
