Beauty from the Inside Out
1 Corinthian 6:19-20 (The Message)
“Or didn’t you realize that your body is a sacred place, the place of the Holy Spirit? Don’t you see that you can’t live however you please, squandering what God paid such a high price for? The physical part of you is not some piece of property belonging to the spiritual part of you. God owns the whole works. So let people see God in and through your body.”
Our body is a sacred place and in the Amplified Bible it is stated a “temple of the Holy Spirit”. We should be careful that we take care of it the way God intended. God wants us to be healthy and live our life in a way pleasing to Him including what we put into our bodies and what we wear on our bodies. We represent Him and should dress modestly and not fill ourselves with foods that is slowly poisoning our bodies. Being healthy is so important to us as a mom we need to have the energy to do the tasks that are set before us on a daily basis. Being healthy also improves on how we look. When you are healthy and rested you look more beautiful and refreshed. Since we represent God we need to look our best. Over the next few weeks we are going to be talking about the importance of eating healthy and the affects it has on your appearance. Let’s get healthy together.
