I was very excited to have the opportunity to review a very unique take on getting the Word in our lives. It is called, "Contemplate the Bible Magazine." I don't do a lot of reviews, mostly because of time, and there are not a lot of things out there I want to invest my time in when it comes to reviews. However, this intrigued me, so I jumped. It’s the Bible in magazine form! Literally. Big plans for this innovative way to spread the Word: They are planning on printing the ENTIRE New Testament over the next 4 years (24 issues featuring one or more books of the NT) They are also working on getting Contemplate in to the prison system AND deployed soldiers overseas. A special Christmas issue, "Behold!" will be available in early November (pre-order THIS MONTH). Last year, they sold out completely! So don’t miss out on this one! Understanding that we are significant is huge. It can literally change your life when you realize just how much you matter. We have been on the subject of significance for 4 lessons now. Lesson 5 is about understanding that you are Loved. We are going to delve into the fact that we are all LOVED... truly loved, by the Creator of the universe. When Your Child Hurts Your Feelings
She wasn't trying to be rude. She was just stating an opinion. But it still hurt. I made a chicken casserole for dinner, a recipe I got from my sister, who had cooked it for my family a couple times. Since my kids loved it, I decided to make it at home. I don't recall what I did differently that made my daughter unhappy, but she decided it wasn't nearly as tasty as the casserole my sister had made, and she told us all. Her hasty words stung. After a quick argument in my head, I smiled at my child. I realized I had a choice; I could be upset, or I could let it roll off my shoulders. So I agreed with her. "Yup, you're right.
