Names of God – I Am
In Exodus 3:14 God reveals another aspect of Himself to Moses. And God said to Moses, I AM WHO I AM and WHAT I AM, and I WILL BE WHAT I WILL BE; and He said, You shall say this to the Israelites, I AM has sent me to you!
I looked up I AM in my concordance and found some awesome stuff. “Am” comes from the Hebrew word hayah (haw-yaw’) “I AM” together is also Yahweh. They mean; to exist, i.e. be or become. Always emphatic, a beacon, altogether, accomplished, committed, and continue. To the Hebrew people I AM (to be) does not mean to just exist. It means to BE ACTIVE.
God is in everything. He is actively involved in every aspect of our lives…whether we see it or not…He is there. He is our beacon in the deep darkness of this lost world. He is committed to us totally and completely. He will continue to love us for all time…even if we never love Him. He is I AM.
I AM…the One Who created all things is your God. What else is there to say?
Let’s Pray;
Daddy God, Almighty God, I Am, All Powerful, You are ALL that I will ever need. You are a wonderful and loving God. You are my Kind, my Father, my friend, and my Love. I love you with all of my heart, mind, body, and soul. I love you, Daddy. In Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
In His Love and Service,
Lara ;)
