OK, on to this week’s Mommy tip…
No Cry Onion Chopping
I love to cook and hate to chop onions. I have tried many tips and tricks to help with the tears and some have worked a little. However, the one tip that works the best is to make sure the onion is nice and cold.
Most people keep their onions outside the fridge. They do keep longer that way. However, when you are getting ready to chop the onion, you will want it nice and cold. Trust me. Either put in in the fridge overnight, or place in the freezer for about a half hour or so. Overnight in the fridge is best though.
Let me know how it works for you!
