The Daily – Encouragement

Sometimes it feels like there is opposition coming at me from every side. The more I seek God and the more I try to reach my fellow Moms of Faith, the more battles I find myself trying to overcome. I am certain that every woman reading this can relate on some level. So, I am writing this post to encourage myself and those who need a spiritual pick-me-up!

Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand. – Isaiah 41:10 (NLT)

This makes me very happy! I have no need to fear or become discouraged! My Daddy will help me and give me His strength! He will HOLD ME UP Himself!! How cool is that???

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. – Romans 8:28 (NKJV)

The word ALL is what stands out the most for me here. Sure, we may need to walk through some valleys and dark times, however, we can find encouragement in knowing that no matter what, it will work out for the good. ALL things.

Cast your burden on the LORD, And He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved. – Psalm 55:22 (NKJV)

We have choices. We can wallow in our burdens and allow them to overcome US, or we can CAST them at the Feet of Jesus and overcome them and be sustained by the CREATOR of the Universe!

Every word of God is tried and purified; He is a shield to those who trust and take refuge in Him. – Proverbs 30:5 (amplified)

God IS our shield…the clause is that WE must take action by taking refuge IN Him through His Word and the power it gives us to overcome any and all things!

I do not know if any of this made y’all feel encouraged, however, I can tell you that reading my Lord’s love letter to me never lets me down. I am ALWAYS encouraged and inspired by Him!

We serve such an AWESOME, Mighty, Loving, Compassionate, Merciful, Encouraging, Life-Giving, All-Knowing, Supreme and GREAT Good! There is NONE like Him! NONE! He is all we will EVER need!

Let’s pray;

Daddy God, I just love You. I cannot imagine what it would be like not to know You. Thank You for supplying all I need and for encouraging me with the Truth of Your Word. Thank You for the Life it gives and the power I find in it! I love You and thank You for encouraging, loving and accepting me as Your very own! You are all I need and all I ever want! I am in awe of all You are. Thank You! In Jesus Mighty Name, Amen!
