Hott Mama in a Hott Cauldron!
What?
Pagans? Witches? And, God? Oh My!
Oh. Yes. Looks like “Excuse me, can I tell you something?” has found myself in a cauldron of Hott Water, unbeknownst to me, that’s for SURE! (I think I prefer my Hott hubby Dan and our Hott Tub!) But hey…. God has a plan for everything! Right?!
OK. So…. Here’s the deal: 10 or more pagan/witch/fairy blogs have erupted and taken over places in the Top 25 Faith Mom Blogs! I know it sounds crazy; but it’s true! I have entered a contest on another online community called Circle of Moms!!!!! Since the contest was called “Top 25 Faith Mom Bloggers,” I assumed it would include like minded people sharing stories of God’s blessings. So, what am I doing in a contest, a new blogger/columnist/writer, with such a diverse group of mommies???? One can’t help but wonder!
My answer is just this: I just love, love, LOVE, to share my faith! And my faith is in my heavenly father, God, the one and only, whom I dearly love! As I express here on “Hott Flashes” and in “Excuse me, can I tell you something?”, I seek to find God calling or speaking to me in the little things every day, so that when the big things like Parkinson’s Disease and such arise, life is, well, just much more tolerable with,… yes,… I’m going to say it: Faith in God!
“What do you think? If a man has a hundred sheep, and one of them has gone astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine on the hills and go in search of the one that went astray? And if he finds it, truly, I say to you, he rejoices over it more than over the ninety-nine that never went astray. So it is not the will of my Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones should perish.” – Matthew18:12-14
I know in my heart that God rejoiced when he came after me in that heard of sheep. Yes, lil’ ole’ gray haired Hott Mama Me from West “By God” Virginia! I also believe that God seeks the hearts of the pagans, witches, and fairies entered in the Top 25 too. Although it is likely that my blog will never place in the Top 25, maybe by being a part of this contest now, God finds a way to speak to the hearts of ALL! And… maybe with a blog like “Excuse me, can I tell you something?” they will see just a small sample of my faith in God and know that He loves them too! Right? After all, God speaks to everyone!

God is out there seeking YOU. And, it is certainly not His will that ANY of his little sheep should perish.
