Faith and Business 101: 4 Things To Do To Become A Great Guest Blogger
Guest blogging is a fantastic way for online marketers to promote, get exposure, build traffic and become experts in their niche. It also benefits the host blogger who allows you to share their space.
To be a great guest blogger there are four things you should try and achieve.
They are not difficult at all. They are simply common courtesy.
When you’re a guest blogger, remember the host blogger is sharing their space, their readers and their traffic with you. They deserve to have your best and quality work on their blog. Don’t just rewrite articles you have already written and published, but take the time to study their blog and choose topics that are relevant to the blog and to your area of expertise.
Be engaging in your posts, incite excitement and knowledge. Most of all, be genuine and show your personality. Avoid being controversial or run it by your blog host and get their approval first. Controversial topics can be offensive to some people so it’s best to not put reputation or your blog host in a bad light.

That’s right. Be a perfectionist when it comes to your writing. It shows you care and take pride in your work. Be sure to always check your grammar, spelling, punctuations, sentence structures and that you crossed your “t’s” and dotted your “i’s”. Okay, the latter isn’t necessary, but if you want to be taken seriously and I know you do then it’s necessary to be spot on every time.
After your guest blog post is live, you should promote it on social media and social bookmarking sites. It’s beneficial all around for everyone. If there are other guest bloggers on the blog, promote their posts too.
And lastly, respond to comments left on your post. Being a guest blogger has some nice benefits and the work doesn’t stop there by reaping all the goodies.
