Boys & Girls Club of America Back to School Tools
Kids are heading back to school and homeschool. For many Moms, including me, it can be a stressful time of preparing for the new school year, checking off items on check-lists, wondering what we will feed our kids for lunches, snacks, the list goes on and on and on!
For me, I know that the most important things for my homeschool “classroom” are the basic everyday items like: pencils, lead, glue sticks, kid friendly scissors, paper, readers and of course crayons! Then, there is my meal schedule and planning for my teaching times. It can get pretty hectic!
I do not doubt it is a pretty busy time for Moms who send their kids off to school as well!
That’s where Boys & Girls Club of America’s Back to School Tools can really come in handy! I found several fabulous tip sheets that are really helpful for back to school preparations!
Free Back to School Tip Sheets:
You can get any of these by clicking on the check boxes at the Boys & Girls Club of America website on the right sidebar under the “Get Ready” heading. I am pretty certain just about every Mom will find a tip sheet to help her out. The topics are: Time Management, Homework Helpers, Goal Setting, Preparing for Middle/High School, and College Preparation. I have added the homework one below for your convenience and to give you an example of the awesome free help Boys & Girls Club of America (BGCA) is offering!

Boys & Girls Club of America and Disney have partnered to launch the Tools for Back to School initiative. This initiative features a pop-quiz style game, where supplies are donated to BGCA for every correct answer you score. Click Here for more info!
BGCA has also partnered with jcpenney, and in August you can join jcp cares and round up your purchase at the register to benefit BGCA. I love this idea. Just shopping for things you already need for your kids can help other children. How cool is that? Kudos to jcp and BGCA!
I love the Boys & Girls Club of America’s mission: “to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.”
What a great statement! After all, our children are the future, and if we do not equip them and help them to become caring and responsible citizens, I am disturbed at what that result would be for future generations!
Disclosure: I wrote this review while participating in a blog tour by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of Boys and Girls Club. I received a promotional item to thank me for taking the time to participate. However, all opinions are my own!
