40 Days of Prayer for Our Nation: Day 7

If you are just visiting, we are on day seven of a 40 day prayer journey for our nation! We are unified and seeking a move of God! Let’s pray:

Father, God, we love You. You are the Alpha and Omega, the Word Made Flesh, the True Vine, Creator, Provider, Redeemer, Judge, All-Powerful, and our Shepherd. You are worthy of all glory, honor, and praise. You are worthy of our everything. You, alone, hold the world in Your hands, and make the mountains Your footstools. There is NO other God like You. You are the Great I Am. We adore you, as our King, God, and Daddy in Heaven.

Lord, we humbly come before you and plead for every mayor in this great country from north, south, east to west! We ask that You protect them, and their families today–and every day. We ask that You bless each of them, and that You help them to make right choices that please You. Where decisions have been made that are not Your will, we ask that You begin to change their hearts, and the hearts of those who are in leadership with them, so that they can make better decisions for the cities in this great nation. Where there is darkness and wrong motives, we ask that You open their eyes, and cause them to do right! Father God, we beg You to intervene, and help our mayoral leaders to make the right choices for the cities in the United States of America. We thank You for hearing our prayer, Lord.

Daddy, God, we love You. We are so thankful for all the many blessings that You grant us each day–from the good parking place, to coming through in our finances, and everything in between. We know that every good thing comes from YOU! We know that we cannot even breath without You. Lord, we love and adore You. You are Awesome and Mighty. Holy, Holy, Holy is Your Name, and worthy to be praised from the very depths of our beings! Thank You for all that You are! IN Jesus’ Mighty, Loving, and Holy Name, Amen!

Therefore, God elevated Him to the place of highest honor and gave Him the name above all other names, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in Heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. – Philippians 2:9-11
