Each time He said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me. - 2 Corinthians 12:9 I love this! "My power works best in weakness." It is so easy to beat ourselves up about our failures and struggles. Personally, I am known to have the occasional pity party. It is mentally draining, and only leaves me feeling sad and depressed. Then, I read something like this, and Daddy shows me that He can still work with a failing human like me! You see, His glory and power shines best when He can work through our weaknesses! We are joint heirs with Christ (ref. Romans 8:17)! We are royal princesses (ref. 1 Peter 2:9-10)! As if that was not fabulous enough... He makes everything work out. We may not always understand His plan, but we know that if God is the one with the plan, it will go far better than anything we can come up with! Study Time: Look up … [Read more...]
