The Daily – Pray, Prefer, Carry and Love

It always amazes me when I see Christians insulting, backbiting, arguing, being mean spirited and acting rudely to one another. Not only does it discredit anything each of them is trying to say, it also makes the Body of Christ as a whole look like blabbering idiots. It is childish, fleshly and disobedient to God’s Word.

But refuse, shut your mind against, have nothing to do with trifling, ill-informed, unedifying, stupid controversies over ignorant questionings, for you know that they foster strife and breed quarrels. And the servant of the Lord must not be quarrelsome. Instead, he must be kindly to everyone and mild-tempered, preserving the bond of peace; he must be a skilled and suitable teacher, patient and forbearing and willing to suffer wrong. – 2 Timothy 2:23-24 (amplified)

I am really just so tired of seeing and hearing about the constant quarreling in the Body. It is insanity and completely crippling to our ability to reach the word for Christ.

How do I know this?

Because if we are busy fighting, proving points, back biting, judging and being childish, it is IMPOSSIBLE to live and show love to anyone!

Shake it off.

Let it go!

Who really cares!?

We are COMMANDED to LOVE each other!!

A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another. – John 13:34-35 (NKJV)

Don’t judge your sister…bear and carry her issues with her. Be there for her. Pray for her. Never judge, criticize or argue your point. That is foolishness.

Love her and bear with her!

Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. – Galatians 6:2 (NKJV)

Again, LOVE your brother and sisters! Pray for them if they are in error, wronged you or offended you.

Above all things have intense and unfailing love for one another, for love covers a multitude of sins [forgive and disregard the offenses of others]. – 1 Peter 4:8

Let’s stop walking around like a bunch of pious, self righteous, self proclaimed know-it-alls and realize we do NOT know it all and that above all…ALL…we are to LOVE one another! Everything else is debatable!

Period.

Let’s Pray;

Daddy God,  Help me to love my brothers and sisters. Help me to walk with those who are struggling with love and mercy in my heart. Help me to correct only in Love and be willing to not have to be understood or received. Help me to love others above all and never to criticize, argue or need to prove my point. Help me stay away from argumentative topics and discussions. Help me to keep argumentative and trouble makers far from me, and pray for their eyes to be opened to YOUR Truth. Help us to pray for, love and carry each others burdens. Help us all to LIVE and walk out love each day and in ALL things. Help me to never assume I can judge another without receiving the same in return. Help me to always forgive. Thank You! In Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
