The wickedness in this world is on the rise and it makes me think of the days of Noah. When God could literally smell the stench of sin from Heaven. We truly are in the last days and we need to watch how we live... Therefore He says, Awake, O sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall shine (make day dawn) upon you and give you light. Look carefully then how you walk! Live purposefully and worthily and accurately, not as the unwise and witless, but as wise, sensible, intelligent people, Making the very most of the time [buying up each opportunity], because the days are evil. Therefore do not be vague and thoughtless and foolish, but understanding and firmly grasping what the will of the Lord is. - Ephesians 5:14-17 (amplified) We have no excuse. Ignorance is no longer a valid reason for licensed living. This Scripture is a warning to the Body of Christ. Let's break it down... The Daily – My Battle
It is hilarious to me that every time God gives me a devotional to write, I almost always wind up challenged in that area. You see, I know that I write these devotionals for me more than for you. We must first think it before we do it. Example: Our friend gets a new gadget that we have been pining for over the course of several months. When she is sharing her excitement, instead of feeling happy for her, we begin to get annoyed and wonder why "she" gets everything and we don't. Before you know it, we are irritated with this poor … [Read more...]
