I find myself in familiar territory these days. Years ago, God dealt with me about my mind and the thoughts I would allow in. We walked through many hours of study and Scripture and overcame a lot of junk. Sadly, over time, I slowly let my guard down, and little by little let my thought life run rampant again--and now I am reaping the harvest of that mistake. My life of thoughts has brought me back to my knees. I am so very thankful for the Blood and the Grace it brings. I am thankful that even though I have let my life become a mess, the Grace from the Blood that Jesus shed affords me strength. It also gives me the super natural ability to pick myself up, and clean out the muck of my mind! The wickedness in this world is on the rise and it makes me think of the days of Noah. When God could literally smell the stench of sin from Heaven. We truly are in the last days and we need to watch how we live... Therefore He says, Awake, O sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall shine (make day dawn) upon you and give you light. Look carefully then how you walk! Live purposefully and worthily and accurately, not as the unwise and witless, but as wise, sensible, intelligent people, Making the very most of the time [buying up each opportunity], because the days are evil. Therefore do not be vague and thoughtless and foolish, but understanding and firmly grasping what the will of the Lord is. - Ephesians 5:14-17 (amplified) We have no excuse.
