So, I grew up loving makeup. In the 80's, I'd smear mom's orange lipstick all over my lips, and rub on some green eye shadow as often as I could sneak into her supply. (Right now she'd be arguing that her lipstick was not orange, it was apricot!) Regardless, I never really wavered from my makeup obsession. But I'm not a snob about it. I have to be realistic with my money, and I can't go buying all the fancy items I'd like to have. Thanks to Ulta, I can pretty much get my entire face made over for less than $50. Summertime is no different; I still love makeup, but I get to be less aggressive. In the winter I'm piling it on to cover up the ghoulish gray pallor my skin so often turns from months of staying indoors. But come spring and summer, I'm layering on sunscreen and racing out the door.
