I find that the road God has me on is a lonely one at times. It took many years before I began to realize that this is required when you really want to have deep intimacy with the Lord. The closer we get to Him and the more we learn His Word, the more we are able to see the sin in our lives and around us. I have a very strong prophetic and discernment gifting. It sometimes halts me and makes me want to crawl in a hole and hide. You see, when you can see through others and the demonic forces guiding them, it can be a bit alarming. It is not something God wants me to just start spewing out either. God has not prompted me once to specifically call out the sin in another...yet. I am only prompted to pray for them. This is very difficult for me. Especially when I see such blatant error or sin. He has, however, called me to write to the masses... You see, I see things very black and white. There is NO gray. The Daily – Encouragement
Sometimes it feels like there is opposition coming at me from every side. The more I seek God and the more I try to reach my fellow Moms of Faith, the more battles I find myself trying to overcome. I am certain that every woman reading this can relate on some level. So, I am writing this post to encourage myself and those who need a spiritual pick-me-up! Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. I have no need to fear or become discouraged! My Daddy will help me and give me His strength! He will HOLD ME UP Himself!! How cool is that??? And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. - Romans 8:28 (NKJV) The word ALL is what stands out the most for me here. Sure, we may need to walk through some valleys and dark times, however, we can find … [Read more...]

Yesterday, we talked about praying, preferring, carrying and loving one another. There is so much more to it though. I am continuing the thought with gentleness, humbleness and patience. This is a topic we can assume we may think we are good at. However, are we really kind and gentle with one another? Really? Let's see what the Word says and then decide... Always be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other’s faults because of your love. - Ephesians 4:2 (NLT) I would say that I fail miserably on a daily basis with this one. By all means, please stop reading if you have mastered Ephesians 4:2. :) For those of you who struggle with being humble, gentle and patient, let's dig deeper.. To be humble is to be; submissive, meek, unassuming, polite, not proud or arrogant and modest. To be gentle is to be; clement, peaceful, soothing, tender, lenient, merciful, mild, temperate, tame, quiet, and courteous. To be patient is to be; uncomplaining, … [Read more...]
