I'm not a fan of the heat in Florida and I welcome the cooler air. We don't really get a 'winter' here. It's not too hot and it's not too cold so it's just right! However, cold weather or not--winter school break is almost here and I'm planning and preparing now on what activities my family and I can do. As a work at home, homeschooling mom, this means I have to adjust our schedules again. Re-adjusting your routine can put you in some kind of funk, but just remember it's only for about two weeks and your not going to be stuck in the house 24/7 because you are going to plan ahead! :) Early planning is the key to having a fun winter break with the kids. Like the 12 days of Christmas, plan your activities for the entire winter break. Give yourself room for unexpected happenings, but try to stick to the activity you have planned. Who knew cheesecake could be so delicious and easy? This cheesecake uses fresh pumpkin puree, but you can certainly use the canned variety if you’re short on time and fresh ingredients.
