Bonne Bell Lip Gloss

Product: Bonne Bell Liquid Lip Smacker – Bubble Gum Flavor

Where to buy: Walgreens is where I got it, but you can find Bonne Belle just about anywhere.

Price: under $2

Rating: 10

Review: I recently bought some great lip gloss by Bonne Belle. It is made in the USA and a perfect gift for your pre-teen or teenage daughter…or hey, even YOU! ;)

I have the Liquid Lip Smacker in Bubble Gum flavor. It is YUMMY! It smells and tastes just like bubble gum and the shine is great. The lip gloss  is thick and and sticky so that sticks to your lips well. Even my husband who is not a fan of me wearing lip gloss like it!

The packaging is really cute too. It is in a small tube that is pink and clear with little bubbles and cute font. It has the stick applicator, which is really convenient and easy to use.

If you are a lip gloss fan then this is a great product!

Cons: None!

That’s good to know that Bonne Bell is Made in the USA. I was recently checking out ELF cosmetics ( and liking the concept of all their products being $1. I had a feeling it was too good to be true though, so I emailed them asking where their products were made and specifying that I was trying to avoid buying products made in China.

Their first response: “Thank you for your interest in elf cosmetics. Our products are manufactured overseas. We have strict quality control procedures to insure that our products are free from lead and hazardous materials.”

Haha, I didn’t even say anything about lead at first. They still weren’t specific about China though, so I re-emailed them asking if any of their products were made in China.

The last response: “Most of our products are manufactured in China.”

Ahh! It’s frustrating, but at the same time you can tell they’re trying to play the PC game and still make a profit. Well, they won’t be making a profit off me this year!

The only other name I have ever seen on Bonne Bell is Norway..but not the product mentioned in the review. :) I am just glad there is something for my teenager that is made in the USA!

Thanks for this review. Bonnebell is one of the things on my daughters christmas list. It’s good to know this is one less thing on the list that I have to worry about where it was made.
