Lean on Daddy

Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding. – Proverbs 3:5-6

For me, this is easier said than done. We must learn NOT to rely on our own understanding of things. We must put all of our trust and hope in God. And KNOW that He WILL work it all out.

Verse 6 tells us…In all your ways know, recognize, and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths.

Our lives are filled with activities, places to go, and people to see. Many times we forget to acknowledge our Daddy in Heaven throughout our daily lives. Unfortunately, when we forget Him, we are missing out on a promise.

The promise is that IF we acknowledge God in all our ways, He WILL direct our paths. He will guide us. He will show us the way. However, the key is to make Him the center of our lives. Include Him in EVERYTHING we do….from picking out what we will wear to what to we make for dinner. In ALL your ways acknowledge Him. Jesus must be Lord of our life. Our whole life…not just what’s convenient for us.

Take the time to learn about our God’s awesome Character in His Word. The Word has answers to all of our problems. In It’s powerful pages are weapons for warfare, comfort and help in time of need, reminders of God’s great love, encouragement, and more treasures than all the wealth of this world.

Let’s Pray,

Daddy God, I love You. You are a wonderful and Mighty God. You are all that I will ever need. I invite you right now into EVERY part of my life. I ask that You fill me with Your Wonderful presence. I want to include You in my daily routine. I want to submit my ENTIRE life to You and Your great purpose. Help me to walk in Your Truth. Teach me how to be what You created me to be. I love You, Daddy. In Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
