The Sermon on the Mount – Daddy
<–back to The Sermon on the Mount
Matthew 7:11 (NIV)
If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!
I think that many of us forget and maybe do not even realize that God is so much more than just “God.”
He is King of Kings and Lord of Lords. He is the Beginning and the End. He is the great I AM. He is our Beloved Savior, Creator of all things, and the Great Physician. He is Truth and Love. He is God All Mighty. He is our Provider. He is our Shield. He reigns in Victory. He is Everlasting. He is Incomparable – there is none like Him. He is Perfect. He is our Rock. He is Just and Sovereign. He is Mighty in battle. He is our Strength and our Song. He is All Powerful. He is All Knowing. He is Ever Present. He is our Peace. He is our Heavenly Father. He is Abba. He is Holy, Gentle, Kind, Patient, Worthy, Good, and Gracious.
And He is our Daddy!
It amazes me that the Great I Am loves me and calls me not only His very Own, but I am His baby girl. And so are you!
So, when you pray, know this…
HE LISTENS AND LOVES YOU VERY MUCH! He may not always give you what you want, but He will always give you what you need. And He has already given you the greatest gift of all…your salvation through the sacrifice of His Son, Jesus!
One Final Thought: He will ALWAYS love you. Period!
Let’s Pray,
Daddy God, Dear Precious Daddy in Heaven, I love You very much. Thank You for loving me and calling me Your very Own baby girl. I am in awe of You and Your great love for me. Thank You for all that You are and all that You have created me to be. I long to live my life as a living sacrifice of praise to You, my Beloved. I love You, Abba. In Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
In His Love and Service,
Lara ;)
