OK, on to this week’s Mommy tip

Help for Ear Infection Pain

I got this tip from my pediatrician the last time my little girl got an ear infection. Fill a large cup half way with water. Sit your little one down with it and give them a straw. Tell them to blow through the straw into the water to make bubbles. This action helps relieve some of the pressure in their ears, and help with the pain. It also gets their minds off the pain and on to fun. It worked well for my little one. Maybe it will for yours!

Another tip to relieve ear infection pain that she told me (I have not tried yet) was to let her chew sugar free gum. Something in the ingredients and the chewing action is supposed to help as well. Not sure, let me know if it works for you. OR, if you have another tip to help ear infection pain!
