New Feature: Book Club!

I thought it would be nice to start a book club here at Moms of Faith. I think it is a great opportunity to help Christian Moms connect, participate in common interests, build relationships, chat, and spend time sharing with one another.

For our first selection I will choose. However, after that I am open to your ideas and input on our next book.

I will post regularly (approx. weekly) about the book and you can post comments about my observations and share your own. I would also encourage you to join our message boards for deeper discussion and a better opportunity to connect with Christian Moms like you!

Our First Book is actually part of a series; Mark of the Lion, by Francine Rivers. There are 3 books total. The first book we will be reading is; A Voice in the Wind.

This is an AWESOME series by an incredible author. I would love for you to join me on the journey with our star character…Hadassah…

Even if you have read it before…let’s read it together!

I will start with my first observation post late next week. This should give you time to get started.

You can find the book at your local library, book store or at Amazon….

OK, I am hearing from a lot of you that you are getting the book or just ordered it. So…I am going to wait until Monday to make my post for “chapter one” :) Even if you start late it is no biggie…the posts will not be going anywhere. ;)

Will we be reading all 3 books? I am going to order from Amazon and if so I will order all 3 to save on shipping!

I hope this will get me excited about reading again-I haven’t read much since my son was born almost 3 years ago!
