Is it wrong for a Christian to get Plastic Surgery?

Before I begin, I want to make it clear that this is NOT going to become a mean spirited type of discussion. We are all sisters in Christ and we should act accordingly. If ANYONE posts a mean come back or has the profound need to force others to believe what they believe to the point of arguing, their comments will be deleted and never again approved on this site. So play NICE!

OK…on to the discussion part…

Is it wrong for a Christian to get Plastic Surgery? Examples: Breast implants, tummy tuck, eye lift, etc. Why or Why Not? Share your Thoughts…

I have always been curious about what other Christians think of this. Personally, I do not think there is anything wrong with it as long as your motives are pure. For example; if you want a boob job so you can gain the attention of men, then you may need to take this to God. However, if your breasts have suffered the gravitational pull to the point that you feel the need for a lift, well…LOL…who am I to judge. I certainly do not find anything wrong with that motive. I am also certain hubbie would not complain! LOL!

So, please share your thoughts on the topic in a respectful manner…

It might be scary, but plenty of some time deals are not

Hi, I also feel a bit relieved to here your comments on this topic as a Christian. I am thinking of having a tummy tuck done this year but had my doubts. My reasons are because I have lost weight but its been hard to get rid of the weight in my tummy. So I searched it up on line with a question “Is it a sin to have plastic surgery”? and to my surprise it was stated that it wasn’t a sin. But, it would make it a sin if we sacrifice money we really don’t have on material things.

This has helped me SO much! my ex husband had promised me if I lost the weight and I worked out consistently for a year he would honor a tummy tuck for me. I worked out for 4 years straight (still am today) lost the weight but he decided to not allow me to the tummy tuck after all, convinced me I was being vain. I have struggled with this issue for years after having four boys. I am truly blessed I came across this page. My payment is due today and I was debating because I don’t want to displease my father but I know he is with me and not against me. I have the money to do this one time thing for myself after my divorce. After reading comments I feel God is telling me to “Go For It” Thank you sweet friends for the last bit of confirmation I needed.
