Top 10 Signs You are Sleep Deprived

If you are a Mom, more than likely, you have experienced sleep deprivation at various times. For me, personally, I am in the midst of one of those seasons and thought it would be fun to do a top 10 post for y’all.

Top 10 Signs you are Sleep Deprived

10. You speak in half sentences because the other half is stuck somewhere in your head. {Thankfully my teenager can decipher this rare dialect.}

9. You find yourself randomly waking up at 3 in the morning with the innate desire to pin. {It is amazing the awesome things you find on Pinterest at 3am!}

8. You may or may not have showered in a couple days because your brain is so sloth like that you forget whether or not you have… {No comment…lol}

7. You have a blueprint design in your head of a new way to drink coffee via IV and you are certain it is going to be your “million dollar idea.” {er…well…you never know!}

6. Speaking of coffee: You purchase so much coffee from Starbucks (doubles, triples, quads…oh my!) that you believe it should count as stock in the company. {For real!}

5. You find yourself constantly repeating actions/statements because you do not remember if you already did them or said them… {*sigh* Tis true…}

4. You find yourself constantly repeating actions/statements because you do not remember if you already did them or said them… {*sigh* Tis true…}

3. While running errands, you frequently find yourself in a full blown panic screaming your child’s name (thinking they have been abducted)… all the while they are standing right next to you…HOLDING YOUR HAND the ENTIRE time!!! {You have NO idea…}

2. OR… you are that Mother who accidentally left your child at the grocery store… {Ummm… Is it bad that my teenager is clingy and has abandonment issues?? ROFL!}

and the number one sign you are sleep deprived is…

1.Rather than counting sheep, you find yourself mothering, counseling and social networking with the sheep… {The brain just NEVER stops…}

LOL!

    Sign #11: While watching Carson Daly around 1am, you actually respond to a rhetorical question he asked the general viewing audience. :)

    I think I live just another life in my dreams. My husband often tell me that I was talking about invoicing and giving him orders. I’m even already packing our baggages for our summer trip in 41 days. Arg, yep, totally sleep deprived!
