40 Days of Prayer for Our Nation: Day 10

If you are just visiting, we are on day ten of a 40 day prayer journey for our nation! We are unified and seeking a move of God! Let’s pray:

Father, God, we love You and honor You today, and every day, as the ruler of all mankind. We know that You alone, are worthy of our praise, honor, and respect. We know that You hold the world in Your hands, and that You are not surprised by what is happening in our country. You are able to do more than we could ever hope or ask for. Lord, we humbly come before You, and ask that You move mightily in this nation, and create a country that will glorify Your mighty Name!

Lord, today we want to plead for every state in the Central Standard Time Zone. Lord, we pray for every leader in every domain that is in our central states. We pray for wisdom, protection, and courage to fall over each and every person in a position of leadership. For those who do not know You, Lord, we ask that You reveal Yourself to them, and show them what an awesome, wonderful, and mighty God that You are. We humbly ask that You also protect their family and loved ones. We ask that You bless each leader physically, spiritually, financially, and relationally.

Thank You, Father, for hearing our hearts. Help us to vote for good leaders, laws, and to pray for our current leaders diligently–even those we do not agree with! Lord, we want Your will for this country–not ours. We ask that where our hearts need to be changed, that You change us, Lord. Change me into the person You created me to be! Set my mind on things above, and help me… help us all to love more, have more compassion, and to honor You in all we do, say, and think! We love You, Lord. In Jesus’ Mighty, Loving, and Redeeming Name, Amen.

God has now revealed to us His mysterious plan regarding Christ, a plan to fulfill His own good pleasure. And this is the plan: At the right time He will bring everything together under the authority of Christ—everything in Heaven and on earth. Furthermore, because we are united with Christ, we have received an inheritance from God, for He chose us in advance, and He makes everything work out according to His plan. – Ephesians 1:9-12
