Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind. Do not rely on your own insight or understanding. – Proverbs 3:5
The longer I walk with the Lord, the more I realize He just does not do things the way I expect Him to. I sit here and fret. He remains calm and in control. I wonder how we will afford to eat this month. He makes a way unexpectedly. I worry and cry about Christmas for my kids. He reveals a better plan than my own. I am amazed at the grace, love, and mercy of our God. He is amazing and awesome. Who else can we put all of our hope and trust in?? No one can meet our needs like Daddy God. He will never leave us or forsake us. His love for us is deeper and wider than we could ever imagine, and like a dear sister told me this week: He wants to pour out His love on us extravagantly!
We need only TRUST our trustworthy God!
Father God, thank You for pouring out Your love on me each and every day. Thank You that even though I do not always see or understand what You are doing, I know that I can trust You. Thank You for being trustworthy. Thank You for never leaving me or forsaking me. Thank You for sending Your only Son to die for an unworthy soul like me, so that I can spend eternity with You! Thank You for Your extravagant love for me! I love You, Daddy! I want my life to shine for You! You are worthy of all glory, honor, and praise! Holy and Mighty is Your Name! In Jesus’ Mighty and Loving Name, amen.
