God Works Best through our Weakness!
Each time He said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me. – 2 Corinthians 12:9
I love this!
“My power works best in weakness.”
It is so easy to beat ourselves up about our failures and struggles. Personally, I am known to have the occasional pity party. It is mentally draining, and only leaves me feeling sad and depressed. Then, I read something like this, and Daddy shows me that He can still work with a failing human like me!
You see, His glory and power shines best when He can work through our weaknesses!
When we are weak, He is strong.
When we are tired and weary, His grace and mercy helps us to press on.
When we are failing, He is victorious.
When life knocks us down, His mighty hand is there to lift us up!
When we are in the midst of trials and pain, His Word is there to give us strength and power!
Our weaknesses are not a hindrance to His power working through us–they are fuel!
So, the next time life, circumstances, sin, or a struggle knocks you down; get back up and let the power of the living God shine through you, and help you to have victory for the glory of His worthy name!
Let’s pray…
Father God, thank You for every weakness, struggle, and flaw in my life. Thank You that You are able to work with all that I have–good and bad. Thank You that Your grace is more than sufficient for me. I love You, Lord. I want my life to shine for You. Use me, Lord. Help me to be the woman that You created me to be. Help me to shine for You–even in the midst of my failures. My life is in Your hands, and I am but clay, for You, my Master, to mold and bring glory to Your worthy Name! Thank You for all that You are, and all that You do in my life! I love You, Daddy. In Jesus’ Mighty Name, amen!

Thanks for the awesome devotional. It is true, His strength is magnified in our weakness.
This hit home for me. I’ve had some recent struggles. Thanks for it.
Thank you for sharing this. I needed to read it. And I am sharing it because I know that I have friends who could use it as well.
Thank you for this post. I KNOW all this – in my head. But I need to allow God to work through me right now. I’m so tired this week, so spent. I need Christ to do his work through me. No matter how busy I get, I can’t stop reading his word. Thank you for motivating me to get my Bible back out.
It can often be difficult to be strong when feeling weak, but people really are amazing beings :)
