The Daily – Contentment is Not Always Easy to Obtain
We live in a world of materialism. I am sure that this has always been an issue. Money and stuff have been a problem with mankind since our early days on this earth. However, today, I feel it is most likely at it's highest level since we have so many media outlets. You cannot go anywhere, hear anything or watch something without some sort of materialistic message, commercial, commentary or topic. It is everywhere. How can you be content when everywhere you look life seems better? Well, we must realize that it only appears better. Many times all that "stuff" comes at a price. The price could be time, ethics, and an acquirement of debt. None of these are worth the gain in the long run. We choose to not trust God and accept what HE wants us to have. We would rather take matters into our own hands.
