I have to close my eyes when I drink our tap water. There are always little particles floating around inside, and if you knew me personally, you would know that I am very particular about what I eat and drink! However, I have to drink the water because buying bottles of Fiji water is not a long term solution that bodes well with our budget! So, when I was given the opportunity to review the ZeroWater® Pitcher (water filter), I jumped at the chance! In the process I learned quite a bit about my water, your water, and water in general! I learned that my water is not that great (kinda figured) and that my TDS rating was over 120--not the worst but not that great either. I also learned that the ZeroWater® filter ROCKS! Name Brand Review: Levis 512 Perfectly Slimming Jeans
Product Name: Levis 512 Perfectly Slimming Jeans Submitted by: Christine - (MOF Forum Member) Rating: 9 Where to buy: I bought at Sears Essentials, but available at most retailers that sell Levis. ***See them online at: denimexpress.com/levi-misses-512-jeans.html Description: Bootcut jeans with hidden tummy control panel Review: Since having children my bod has been FAR from perfect, especially in the tummy area. These jeans fit great with just enough stretch. They really do help flatten my stomach and are very flattering. I was actually able to go down one size compared to regular Levis. They are so comfortable they're the only ones I want to wear. They are also available in a light denim blue. Criticism: I absolutely love these jeans and would have given them a 10 except for two things. First, they don't come in black … [Read more...]
Baby Product Review: Baby Smart Cooshie Booster Seat
Product Name: Baby Smart Cooshie Booster Seat Submitted by: Christine, MOF Community Member Rating: 9 Where to buy: I bought from Babies R Us. See online at: amazon.com/Baby-Smart-921B-Cooshie-Booster/dp/B000056J2D Description: Child's booster seat (NOT a car booster seat) Review: When my youngest child became too big for the hard plastic "baby" booster seat, but was still too small to reach the table without help we tried several cheap fixes (such as phone books). Everything we tried eventually slid off the chair with her on it. Even though the Cooshie booster is a tad pricey in the $30 range, it doesn't slip or slide and is practically indestructible. We've used it on chairs with both a wooden seat and a padded (upholstered) seat with excellent results. It's made of soft foam, is very comfortable and has room for my daughter to grow. She is six but is a petite little girl. It's washable, lightweight and completely portable. The one I bought came in a nice mesh carrying … [Read more...]
