As I was about to sit and wallow in my failures and pain, I decided to take refuge in the Word instead. You see, it is so much easier to give into the lie that I will always be a failure, and I will never live up to what God has in store for me. I am not sure why it is easier--it just is. However, I am determined to go AGAINST the current and find my refuge in the Truth of God's Word. In there I see just how deep and wide is Daddy's great love for me -- all of us. I need to just crawl up in His lap and take my refuge. He is all I need. If we can just hold onto His great love and remember all that He is and all that we are to Him, we would find the peace we all crave. We would be able to block out the distractions and pains of this life and focus on the Almighty God. Ladies, He is our DADDY. He is not just some super natural being who sits on a throne and passes judgement upon the earth. He is a Father. We are His baby girls and He loves each of us intimately and profoundly.
