Ever since I bought my little girl her Nintendo Game Boy 3DS, she has become quite the gamer girl! Recently, we had the opportunity to try out a couple of great games: Tomodachi Life & Animal Crossing. These two fabulously entertaining games are also great gifts for gamer girls! Family Movie Night: Game of Your Life
One of the hardest things for me as a Mother is finding quality entertainment for my kids that is also SAFE for them to watch. That is why when I was given the opportunity to review a new family movie, I jumped at the chance! After watching Game of Your Life, I am pleased to let you all know that it is a great family movie! More importantly, it is safe and offers a wonderful opportunity for character training and development for our kids. The story is set around Zach Taylor, a young man who has been given a once in a lifetime chance to better his life via a scholarship into a great school that appeals to his career choice. He is soon put in a situation where he must make a choice. While he does give into temptation, in the end, he chooses the better path. Increased Video Game Usage Can Stunt Kids’ Social Growth
Free time used to be outdoor play time. Now more and more kids are spending their free afternoons indoors playing various video games. The lack of social interaction with others can affect your kids. How long do your kids play video games? Gaming consoles have replaced the television and social interaction for some kids. They are more at home in the make-believe world of the video game than with others their own age. How can you as a parent change that for your kids? Growing up is hard for kids even at the best of times. When you hit puberty, you feel like a stranger in your own skin. As an outlet, kids find activities that make them feel less tense.
