What is your Favorite Thanksgiving Dish?

Before I begin, I want to make it clear that this is NOT going to become a mean spirited type of discussion. We are all sisters in Christ and we should act accordingly. If ANYONE posts a mean come back or has the profound need to force others to believe what they believe to the point of arguing, their comments will be deleted and never again approved on this site. So play NICE!

OK…on to the discussion part…

What is your Favorite Thanksgiving Dish? What do you most look forward to chowing down on each year?

I LOVE Thanksgiving and have actually fallen off the weight loss wagon many times because of it! LOL! We have two Thanksgiving meals. One on the actual day and one for just our immediate family (girls and us) on the Saturday after. SO, I have a couple of favorites. My sister in law makes empanadas at the family celebration and they are A.W.E.S.O.M.E!!!! Home made and scrumptious. The recipe is a Colombian family recipe she has been making since childhood. The woman mills her own corn!!! LOL! YUM!

My other favorite is my own family recipe that I have modified for our family. It is my stuffing. I love the way it tastes…however, I really enjoy the making process where my girls help me and it is something they look forward to every year {especially my teenager}.

Oh, LOL…and CANNED jellied cranberries {ocean spray} ! YEP! LOL!

OK, those are mine…What are your scrumptious favs???

I love my mom’s cornbread pan dressing. She makes the best. It’s an art to get the mixture just right so that the dressing is moist and tasty. This year I want to try to make it myself and see if I can get that “just right” feeling.
