Nicole Elliott Introduction
Nicole is a new columnist taking over for MariLee. She will be writing weekly for Moms of Faith. Twice a month helping me with the Faith and Business 101 and twice monthly for her Moms of Faith parenting/military wife/whatever she feels led to write column called; “Sippy Cups to Separation“. Please read more about her below and give her a warm MOF welcome! <3
Hello Moms of Faith readers! Let me begin by telling you all what an honor it is to be able to contribute to this wonderful site! I was introduced to it by my boss MariLee Parrish shortly after she started writing the Faith and Business column and I’ve enjoyed reading it ever since. Now a little about me–since I know you’re dying to get acquainted!
I spent the first 19 years of my life in the same house in a small town in Wyoming. I married my high school sweetheart who joined the Coast Guard and have spent the past 5 years with 5 out of state moves. “Home is Where the Coast Guard Sends Us” and the latest place I claim as home is Boston, MA, which we moved to from North Carolina last Spring. I am blessed with two beautiful children. Amber is our sweet, funny, always happy toddler who will be turning three next month. Tyler is our giggly, cranky, completely adorable 5 month old who makes sure I don’t get much sleep but makes up for it when he smiles.
I graduated from college with an Associate of Applied Science in Office Information Systems. I’m blessed to be able to use that degree from home now with my job as the Administrative Assistant for Mommy Bag Marketing Inc. In my “spare time” (laughs hysterically) I like to blog over on my personal/review & giveaway blog Ramblings By Nicole.
I’ve been writing ever since I learned how to put words onto paper. With both a Grandma and a Mom who were writers for a newspaper, writing is just in my blood. Throughout my life I always had one outlet or other to satisfy this need. I’ve been so thrilled in the past couple of years that I have finally been able to take my thoughts, insights, and ramblings and finally be able to share them with others on a wide scale through the internet. In addition to my blog I write regularly for the Christian Moms Business Resource Blog, contribute to Today’s Military Spouse, and guest blog on various other blogs from time to time. I’m thrilled to be able to add Moms of Faith to that list now and can’t wait to get to know all of you better!

Welcome. So glad to {{meet}} you! Marilee is a blessing to all and know you will be too. Always love meeting another woman of faith. Look forward to reading and sharing with you.
Enjoy Boston. It’s one of my favorite places that my husband and I have visited (alone). We canoed along the St. Charles River. Fond memories.
Hi Nicole! Looking forward to reading your posts and getting to know you more as we celebrate our God here on Moms of Faith!
Boston? I also hope you are enjoying New England. In fact, tonight we had lasagna from an old recipe of Boston’s North End. Ever go there?
