The Daily – Have you not known? Have you not heard?

Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the LORD, The Creator of the ends of the earth, Neither faints nor is weary. His understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly fall, But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint. – Isaiah 40:28-31 (NKJV)

Isn’t this an awesomely encouraging thing to know?? Our God…Indeed…OUR God, the Creator of the Universe does not grow weary. He is always ready for battle and alert to all things. He also gives us power as we wait on Him in confident trust.

AS we wait upon the Lord and trust Him THROUGH the trials and struggles, HE gives us His strength to endure and make it through. We will run…and NOT grow weary. We will walk…and NOT faint! YEAH God!

But wait…

As with all of God’s promises, there is something that must be done on our end.

Just like a good parent rewards their children for doing right, Daddy, offers many promises for His children. One of them is strength. Not just any strength either…continually RENEWED strength.

What do we have to do to get it??

WAIT and TRUST.

Yes, trials WILL come. Yes, I may have to walk through fire and dark valleys. However, I will have the strength of the Almighty, Great I Am WITH me through all of it AS I WAIT upon Him and TRUST Him in the midst of them.

We are assured and know that all things work together and are fitting into a plan for good to and for those who love God and are called according to His design and purpose. For those whom He foreknew, He also destined from the beginning to be molded into the image of His Son, that He might become the firstborn among many brethren. And those whom He thus foreordained, He also called; and those whom He called, He also justified (putting them into right standing with Himself). And those whom He justified, He also glorified. What then shall we say to [all] this? If God is for us, who [can be] against us? [Who can be our foe, if God is on our side?] – Romans 8:28-31

There is a purpose for everything we must endure. God is not surprised by our struggles, problems, and issues of life. He is never caught off guard. Even when we choose to step out of His Will and come back, He has an alternate plan for our good. He is always molding us and working things out for His purpose and our good. He has our backs and will never ever ever leave us or forsake us…no matter what. He loves us and is only looking out for our best interest.

Even the most painful things in life have a purpose.

Pain brings us to our knees and helps us to see the glory of His Name. Pain hurts our fleshly person. However, pain must occur for us to become the beautiful masterpiece that the Potter is designing. Parts of the molding process can sometimes go unnoticed or without any real consideration on our parts. Yet, when we feel the burn of the kiln, we sure do want to buckle, eh? LOL!

In closing, let us not allow ourselves to get so caught up in the issues of life that we forget what God’s Word says about them…

AS we wait and trust, we WILL gain strength

and

ALL things…

not some…

ALL things work together and are fitting into a plan for good to and for those who love God and are called according to His design and purpose.

Let’s pray;

Daddy God, thank You for loving me enough to allow me to be perfected through the molding process of fire. Thank You for having a perfect plan and purpose for my life even if I do not always understand it. Help me to see Your hand in everything. Help me to overcome the trials and pains of this life. Help me to rely on You and reach out for YOUR strength. THANK YOU for making it available to me as I wait on You and trust you through my struggles. I love You, Daddy. Thank You for loving me. In Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
