I was very excited to have the opportunity to review a very unique take on getting the Word in our lives. It is called, "Contemplate the Bible Magazine." I don't do a lot of reviews, mostly because of time, and there are not a lot of things out there I want to invest my time in when it comes to reviews. However, this intrigued me, so I jumped. It’s the Bible in magazine form! Literally. Big plans for this innovative way to spread the Word: They are planning on printing the ENTIRE New Testament over the next 4 years (24 issues featuring one or more books of the NT) They are also working on getting Contemplate in to the prison system AND deployed soldiers overseas. Psalm 119 – Family Video Devotions
Disclosure: I was provided a free membership, and payment. However, as always, all thoughts are my own. Sometimes it can be difficult to figure out how to explain concepts of God’s Word to our children in a way they will enjoy and retain. Anton’s A-Z To A Good Life is a delightful and enjoyable way to conduct an informative family video devotion of Psalm 119 with your children — without losing the meat of the Word. I was thrilled to had been afforded the great opportunity to review this amazing series! Each session has humor, visual stimuli, and most importantly, an informative lesson for your children from God’s Word! I loved the characters and voices used. My daughter laughed a lot while listening. And she couldn’t wait to hear the next lesson. She's even asked me if we can go through the series again! That is saying quite a lot! It makes me very happy when my kids WANT to learn more about God's Word. And I have FABULOUS new for Moms of Faith readers!!!! The … [Read more...]
Emily Lost Someone She Loved

I do not want to give too much away, however, I will say that I let my daughter read it, and she was very moved. She told me that she loved how they showed Emily's life before the loss, and then how realistic everything turned when she lost her loved one. As for me, an adult reading it, I felt warmth and comfort reading it and the Scriptures included, … [Read more...]
