When my first child was about six months old, my church invited me to join the worship team. But after a month, I realized adding a two hour practice each week on top of singing in two services on Sunday was exhausting me. And it was the only activity I regularly participated in that got me out of the house! I eventually came to the conclusion that I had to quit the team, and I cried for days over the disappointment and sense of failure. Why couldn't I manage a few hours away from home? Making Time for God Every Day
Every Mom knows that being a Mom means life is busy and hectic. It does not matter if you are a working mom, stay-at-home mom, corporate mom, or a homeschooling mom; if you are a mother, you are a busy woman. However, no matter how busy our lives get, we cannot forget the most important thing in life: Our Daddy God. Nothing matters more. Spending time with God does not need to be this super spiritual micro managed batch of time that is so over scheduled we get no relationship out of it. Allow God to be a part of every little moment of your day, and you will be closer to Him than a rushed 15 minutes of “scheduled” time. God wants friendship and relationship… God wants to be at the top of our list... God wants to be our priority... He does not want to be jotted into an already busy day when we "get the chance".
