As soldiers of Christ our thoughts should be pure, godly, peaceful, and good. Give Your Children Grace
We all love our kids. Before I became a mother I never realized how deeply a parent loves their child. It is an intense love that goes beyond anything I’ve ever experienced. There is this primal instinct to protect, nurture and love them with every fiber of our being. With that said, let’s admit it, sometimes they can drive us a little crazy! Sure they’re angels but we’ve all experienced their dark side also. What mom hasn’t seen their little cherub throw a tantrum, or their teenager act in rebellion? The truth is they’re human and so are we. They’ll make mistakes, we’ll make mistakes and it is important that we’re forgiving and give our children the same grace our Father gives us. I think about the many missteps I’ve made during my lifetime and I’m so grateful that God has always given me the grace I didn’t deserve. Strive for A Clutter Free Mind
“Therefore prepare your minds for action.” - 1 Peter 1:13 Toxic thoughts are similar to the clutter that accumulates in our house. If our home is cluttered it can be a real mood buster. Clutter leaves us feeling unorganized, out of sorts, and creates mental road blocks that hinder us from establishing a smoothly run household. Clutter throws our home into a state of confusion. When we submit to stinking thinking confusion negatively impacts us and manifests through our actions. If your mind is cluttered you can’t think straight or make good informed decisions. Instead stinking thinking brings out the worst in you. It keeps you from striving toward your dreams and stops you from being your personal best. It’s important to get your thoughts in order.
